Dr. Emily Hu is an ob-gyn and a member of the our site Medical Advisory Board. She has been practicing with Bay Area OBGYN since 2004. She has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery, menopause, adolescent health, fertility, and high-risk pregnancy.
Hu graduated cum laude from Columbia College and received her M.D. from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed her residency training at Stanford University Medical Center.
In addition to caring for patients, Hu is on the clinical faculty at University of California School of Medicine, San Francisco; is a board member of the San Francisco Gynecological Society; and serves on the Perinatal Quality of Care Committee at California Pacific Medical Center. Hu is also vice chair of the gynecology department at Seton Medical Center, where she serves on the Ethics Committee. She speaks Mandarin.
